Now in it’s 36th year, this 5-day CME symposium equips clinicians with practical, evidence-based insights to care for endurance athletes and active-lifestyle patients. Through expert-led sessions and real-world case discussions, attendees gain the knowledge needed to enhance athlete safety, performance, and overall health in endurance athletes and active patients at all levels.
Robert Sallis, MD serves as the symposium chairman and is the driving visionary behind the program. An internationally recognized speaker and leader in sports medicine, Dr. Sallis directs the Sports Medicine Fellowship Program at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Fontana, California, and serves as team physician for both the LA Galaxy and the LA Clippers.

Unique CME Experience
At the end of the course, participants will have the exciting opportunity to put their new skills into action by volunteering in the Ironman® World Championship Medical Tent. Under the direct guidance of Ironman® Medical Symposium faculty, you’ll spend four hands-on hours supporting athletes on race day—an immersive “mini-internship” that brings the course’s lessons to life and offers a rare, behind-the-scenes experience in elite endurance care.
